best food spot i've found in a while, hot honey party wings with cheese fry's smackkkk
The food tastes great, and is a great value for what you pay. I paid $8.99 for a 1/4 lb cheeseburger, with cheesy fries and a Sprite. Everything tasted great. The burger was cooked well and on a premium bun with onions, mayo, lettuce and tomato. The fries were fresh and hot. The inside waiting area is a bit small and they were busy, but regardless, I will definitely be coming back.
Great food. Long wait hope it's worth it but when you see folks lining up it's a good sign.
One thing I really appreciate about this place is that the food looked just like the pictures and tasted as good as it looked. My coworker and I ordered this for lunch to the job and let me just say every bite was delicious. I had the catfish and she ordered the fried chicken salad. The salad looked exactly like they advertised (didn't get a pic) and the lettuce was fresh and crispy. The catfish was crispy and a nice helping of fries. I'd def try them again!
At first glance, I was skeptical but my family assured me that the food was fire! I tried them once and never ordered a pan of wings from anyone else. I always order their fried chicken (Chicago style). The chicken is ALWAYS crunchy and well seasoned. I love sauce but I never put sauce on this chicken cause it's THAT good. They are always accurate with the time your order will be ready and there's enough parking for order pickup even though it's near the gas station.
Love the Philly cheesesteak is well seasoned and alot of meat for the price of $7.99 with fries and soda!
Food was fresh and delicious everytime. Had to stay at Cardinal Glennon for a week and easily ate there three/four times that week. The guys were awesome. They recognized me everytime and went out of their way to give me a good experience. Please please get the burger,wings, jumbo shrimp or catfish.
Wow! So I pass this little place all the time as it's right by Cardinal Glennon hospital on the Amoco lot. In fact it was a car wash. That's why I never went in. HOWEVER, I'm sad I waited so long. This place is a REAL GEM. The guys working here are fast and friendly. It's strictly takeout. I ordered the Chicago chicken wings which come with fries. Only $8.89. Man were they yummy. Make sure to put their special lemon pepper on them. I'll DEFINITELY be going back. Don't let the look of the Bldg keep you from trying it out. The Bldg is the ONLY reason it didn't get 5-stars.
This place is so awesome. Great flavor, awesome portions, and really good customer service.
